Preview of “Evolution of Gray” Explanation
The transition of light through the course of a day changes from soft light, to intense light, and back again. Early morning light begins muted and gray, subtlety revealing form as silhouette with hints of color. As day progresses, forms become more defined, colors become more intense—vibrant and saturated with light. At dusk, forms begin to become outlines; colors are again muted, with a bluish gray beginning to cover up the color of full light…

Yesterday I met with the amazing people of David Wade Salon who will be doing my model’s hair and makeup for the show. I am so excited to work with them! Not only are they enthusiastic and had great ideas, they were just so incredibly nice! I walked in and what did they have? An art to wear…
I really needed a bright orangey-red stretch fabric for look #5, the only way to achieve this without having to order fabric was to dye fabric… so here is my first attempt at dyeing fabric!
